Don't force things or worry too much if the conversation goes into unfamiliar territory. To avoid sounding like you are quizzing her, ask open ended questions like "How do you feel about that?" rather than ones that require yes/no responses.
If you establish a good conversational flow right away then it will encourage her to open up while at the same time seeing the best parts of your personality!
